You've planned the wedding. Now you need someone to execute it.
You've planned the wedding. Now I'll take over the logistics. Starting 90 days out, I'll get familiar with your plans, connect with your vendors, build the timeline, and prepare everything needed to keep the day moving. When your wedding arrives, you won't be answering vendor questions, managing the timeline, or putting out fires. I'll handle the logistics behind the scenes so you can be fully present for the moments you've spent so much time planning.

the heart behind Adorned Weddings & Events.
I've spent 8+ years working in the event industry and the last 4+ years planning, managing, and executing weddings.. I've worked on weddings of all sizes, styles, and cultures, and every one has taught me something different.
Before Adorned, I worked as both a multi-venue event manager and as a day of coordinator. Being on both sides of the industry has given me a pretty good understanding of what goes on behind the scenes. I know how venues work, what a realistic timeline looks like, where things tend to get complicated, and when I need to step in and handle something for my couple.
I also think about things couples don't always know to consider. How people will move through the space. Whether a layout actually makes sense for the number of guests. Where a timeline could create a problem later. How to handle different family expectations when everyone has an opinion. There are a lot of questions that don't come up until you've planned a wedding before, and part of my job is knowing to ask them early.
I’m a big believer that wedding planning should still be fun. There are plenty of decisions to make, and plenty of details to keep track of, but you shouldn't have to carry all of that around in your head.
I'm probably going to ask a lot of questions, keep a very close eye on the details, and remind you about something you forgot was coming up. That's just how I work.
And when I tell you, "Okay, Joy's got it," I mean it.
Because when your guests leave saying, "That was SO them," I know we've done it right.

QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE
How far in advance should we book?
The sooner, the better, especially if you have a specific wedding date or venue in mind. That said, I work with couples at different stages of planning and have taken on weddings with shorter timelines too. If you’re unsure whether your date is too close, reach out anyway. We can talk through it.
We've already booked our venue. Can we still hire you?
Absolutely. You don’t have to hire me before you book your venue. Depending on where you are in the planning process, Full Planning, Partial Planning, or Wedding Coordination may make the most sense. We’ll talk through what you’ve already done and what you still need help with.
What's the difference between Full Planning, Partial Planning and Wedding Coordination?
Full Planning + Design is for couples who want someone leading the planning and design from the beginning.
Partial Planning is for couples who have gotten started and want help with what’s left.
Wedding Coordination is for couples who have planned the wedding themselves and want me to take over the logistics during the final 90 days.
What if we aren't sure which package we need?
That’s something we can figure out together. Think about how involved you want to be in the planning and how much you want me to take off your plate. If you still aren't sure, that's completely fine. That's what our consultation is for.
Do you help with vendor recommendations?
Yes. I can recommend vendors based on your wedding, priorities, budget, venue, and what you’re looking for. I also help you think through questions to ask before booking someone, because there are things that are easy to overlook when you haven't planned a wedding before.
Do you travel outside Omaha?
Yes. I’m based in Omaha and regularly work with couples throughout the Omaha metro and surrounding areas. If your wedding is outside the area, send me the details and we can talk about what travel would look like for your wedding.
